Send a link. See who read it.

A deck, a doc or a dossier gets as many links as you need: open to anyone, behind a password, or for a list of people. Each one unfurls into a proper card, opens through a gate in the deck's theme, and tells you who read what. The link below is made up; the card and the gate are drawn by Dossier.

Every link, its own rules

Several links to the same deck can each say something different: one for the board, one for the auditors.

Who read what, and for how long

Counted by person, not by page load, so a reader who comes back three times is one reader.

Per link

Views, readers, PDF downloads, and refused tries at the gate.

Per person

Visits, last seen, how far they got, and how long they read.

Per slide

Views, readers, average and median time.

Per doc section

Time spent in each ## section.

Per dossier

Totals, per item, per person and per link.

On Free

Views and total reading time. The rest is Pro.

Never the content

The gate shows the title, the kicker and who sent it. Nothing inside, until it opens.

Its own address

Readers' pages are served from dossier.page, apart from the editor and the API.

A way to report

Every shared page has a Report link, in case something on it shouldn't be there.

Bots don't count

The apps that fetch a link to draw its card stay out of the stats.

Shared by your agent, when you ask

Links go to other people, so an agent shares only when asked to. A password goes to readers apart from the link.
